Changing Firewall Settings

In the event the Data Card Utility software installs correctly but appears to fail while running, it is probably due to the firewall settings established for your computer. Try changing the settings as outlined below, restart your computer, and running the Data Card Utility again. If the software still fails to run correctly, contact Respironics Product Support.

To change your firewall settings:

  1. Open a command prompt as an Administrator.
  1. Run the following command:

netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="Data Card Server for EncoreAnywhere" dir=in action=allow protocol=tcp localport=4523

  1. Restart your computer and try the Data Card Server utility again. If the Data Card Server continues to fail, contact Customer Support
